Interactomy

About

Interactomy is a piece of anatomy learning software, built using Unity, C# and SQLite and funded by the IT Innovation Fund at University of Oxford. In Interactomy’s main mode, “Build the Body”, we aimed to teach the user about the human anatomy by having them construct areas of the body piece by piece, naming them and their respective connection points along the way.

There is also the “Explore the Body” mode, where users can load up any sections of the body and explore them, using the dissection tool to add and remove parts in realtime. The “Observe a Build” mode lets the user watch a walkthrough of building a certain section of the body, allowing them to revise before testing themselves.

My role

I acted as the lead programmer on this project, handling most of the gameplay elements and creating Unity editor tools that allowed my co-workers to add extra information about body parts and connection points to the game.
