About

Violence in Video Games is a short documentary film made for the University of Sussex Space Invaders competition. In the film, we questioned whether or not violence in video games actually causes people to commit real life acts of violence, compiling news clips, game footage and opinions from internet personalities.

The film also includes opinions from people who play video games, as well as an original soundtrack from the short film’s researcher Odhran Odonoghue, who I would later go on to work with on Interactomy.

My role

I was the main editor for this short film, which was made using Sony Vegas. I also did some research on statistics and news articles surrounding the topic of the film, compiling clips from the news and from YouTubers.
